Two-way openings: The swivel gate can be opened in both directions and it clicks into place easily and securely. Single-handed opening mechanism for adults (2-step safety closure). If desired, a door stop (included) can be installed so that it can be opened in only one direction.
Versatile and stable: Available in one size plus extensions to cover openings from 84,5 up to 92,5cm. Often used as a safety barrier for children, dogs, puppies and even cats.
Easy to install to wall/banister: No drilling required, so you can keep your walls protected. One side of the staircase safety gate is jammed in to two clamp shells, and fixed to the banister on the other using the two solid clamps. The clamp shells are stuck into the opening to be blocked off. They ensure a reliable and secure grip on all smooth surfaces (e.g. wood, plastic). On rough substrates such as plaster we recommend drilling the clamp shells into place. The clamps are suitable for bar diameters of 1.5-8 cm and a distance between bars of up to 21 cm.
